Why do you need to choose good tv?

OK, I think everyone already knows why we need a good TV, but just in case you’re wondering, here’s a quick checklist of what to look for in a TV:
A) Good picture quality with accurate HDR color representation
B) Support for HDR10 and Dolby Vision formats. Most TVs nowadays support one or both of these
C) Smart OS with rich apps and seamless integration with android phones. The OS should have been around at least 2 years so as to have matured and you should have been using it as well as the apps.
D) Great build quality and good looks. You’ll be staring at it for hours so there’s no point getting a TV that looks cheap and is made of cheap plastic.

1) MI 5X 108 Cm: First Place
A) Very good picture quality. Has 4K UHD HDR support. Has Dolby Vision support too. The TV also has excellent hardware that helps deliver excellent quality pictures with incredibly accurate color representation. It supports HDR10 standards as well, which provide amazing contrast levels and brighter, more vibrant colors for movies and shows watched through the TV’s built-in apps or online streaming services like Prime, Netflix, Hotstar, etc.
B) The smart OS is quite decent although it has its shortcomings in terms of app optimization and simple things like having to use your phone to change settings etc. But its UI is getting better every day so that shouldn’t be a huge issue for you now.

2) Samsung 80 Cm: Second Place
A) Good picture quality. The TV has HDR support for HDR10 but not Dolby Vision. The dimensions of the panel are 80 inches so while it’s really big, it’s not so big that you won’t be able to find a wall or room to fit it in.
B) As for the Smart OS, you have Samsung’s new Tizen OS with an app store which is actually quite good although there aren’t as many apps as the android store. But if you use your smartphone a lot and depend on apps like Hotstar, Prime Video, etc, this will work perfectly well for you.

3) Mi 4X 108 Cm: Third Place
A) Good picture quality. Has 4K UHD HDR support as well as Dolby Vision support. The TV is really good-looking and has a great build quality too! As for the software, you’ll be getting Xiaomi’s MiTV OS which is based on Android TV. It’s pretty damn good and I’ve been using it for over a year now and I’m not even looking at any other Smart OS right now.
B) The apps aren’t as numerous as Android or Amazon but they’re definitely enough to keep you entertained for hours on end – everything from Amazon Video, Netflix, Prime Video, etc to all your favorite regional video streaming apps like Voot or Sony LIV.

4) Mi 4A Pro 80 Cm: Fourth Place
A) Good picture quality. The TV has 4K UHD HDR support for both HDR10 and Dolby Vision standards. The TV has come up with a unique 84(L) x 94(W) x 2(H) mm bezel which gives it an edge over most other TVs in both looks and builds quality. It’s also got a smart OS to go with the TV set which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat. You can download apps from Google Play Store or Xiaomi via the MiTV app store.

5) Mi 4A Pro 108 Cm: Fifth Place
A) Good picture quality. The TV has 4K UHD HDR support for both HDR10 and Dolby Vision standards. It’s not as popular as some of the other TVs but it’s still one of the best models out there! As for the smart OS, you’ll be getting Xiaomi’s MiTV OS which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat. You can download apps from Google Play Store or Xiaomi via the MiTV app store.
B) There are way too many apps to list them all here but they’re all worth using at least once or twice to see what they have to offer.
